Many are left fighting for limited living space in cave systems created by the last large earthquake in the San Andreas fault. Those who didn’t get into the bubble cities live alongside those who didn’t uphold the high standards of the society.

The 18,000-word novella to get us into the world of the series. We follow Arthur and his family, as they get evacuated and find themselves in a new reality--one where many things are not as they seem.
